We will bring group swiming lessons to your community or lake that doesn't already have a swimming lesson program!
We provide the Instructor and all equipment for 5 days of swimming lessons in your community during the summer months.
NEW THIS SUMMER: SwimYTH has developed its very own curriculum "Freshwater Fundamentals" targeted towards learning to swim in the Lake! This new curriculum will be offerred at all of our Lake locations for the first time in 2026! Not to worry we will make it super easy to select your swimmers level and to switch back and forth between our new curriculum and the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program!

A one of a kind curriculm created by our founder Makenna geared towards teaching kids to swim in Saskatchewan Lakes!
A tiny swimmers first introduction to swimming in the lake! We get swimmers comfortbale in the lake with lots of shallow water exploration.
Age 3-5
Preschool 2 introduces submersion in the lake water through cup submersions and getting comfortbale with ears in the water.
Age 3-5
In Preschool 3 swimmers learn to submerge their full head in the Lake and master swimming independently in their PFD.
Age 3-5
An advanced Preschool level for swimmers who have mastered submersion and are ready to start swimming and floating independently.
Age 3-5
A beginner level designed for swimmers who are 6 years or older but are not yet comfortbale with submersion when swimming in the Lake.
Note that swimmers who have already passed Preschool 3 should go straght into Level 2 once 6 years old.
Level 2 introduces independent swimming in deep water wearing a PFD as well as continues to work on submersion skills.
Level 3 Introduces deep water swimming without a PFD as well as important safety skills like learning to flip to back float to breathe. Swimmers will swim 10M independently and 50M wearing a PFD.
At the completion of Level 4 swimmers will be comfortable swimming in deep water independently. Swimmers will swim 25M independently and 100M wearing a PFD.
In Level 5 swimmers are challenged with various surivival skills combinations involving an entry, a surface support, and a swim to safety. Swimmers are also learning to master their Front and Back Crawl strokes. Swimmers will swim 50M independently.
In level 6 swimmers continue to be challenged with various surivival skills combinations involving an entry, a surface support, and a swim to safety. Breastroke and introductory rescue skills are introduced. Swimmers will swim 100M Independently.
In Level 7 swimmers are introduced to a variety of rescue techniques while they continue to work on mastering their strokes. Swimmers will swim 200M independently.
At the completion of Level 8 swimmers are ready to take on Lifesaving Society Bronze Leadership Courses!
Use the chart below to help you choose your childs level for our Freshwater Fundamentals Lessons! The levels on the same row of the chart are equivalent to eachother. For example: If your child passed Swimmer 2 last summer you would register them in Level 5 this year (the equivalent to Swimmer 3) . If your child took Swimmer 2 last summer but did not pass, you would register them in Level 4 this year (the equivalent to Swimmer 2)
